Crystal Fisher
Crystal Fisher is the Fiscal Specialist at the Pickaway County Commissioners and has been with the County for 6 months now. Within her role she pays bills for the entire County and works together with the rest of the office to help ensure that the County succeeds. Crystal was working from home prior to joining the County, and said it just wasn’t for her, and she wanted to work around people again. Outside of work, Crystal loves to spend time with her family, as well as her 3 German Shepherds; Maggie Mae, Duke, and Leo, and her Mini Bernedoodle, Luna aka Wonx, Tinky, or Wonky Donky Do. Crystal also loves spending her time cooking and baking, which those within her office can attest to from her many recipe ideas and goodies she brings to work to share. Crystal says she doesn’t like to read; however, you can easily catch her going down many different “rabbit holes” and investigating various topics. When she retires, she says she wants to surround herself with a BUNCH of cows and chickens and spend more time with her family.
When asked if she had any advice for new Pickaway County Employees, Crystal said, “The County has an amazing team – lean on and learn from them. They are willing to teach and walk you through anything; most have been here for a while.” Which very much plays into the best advice she’s received, “You don’t know what you don’t know – don’t be afraid to ask questions.” Crystal would like to shout out Brandy Stewart, Commissioners’, sharing that Brandy has been there to help her since Day 1, and has helped her learn a lot and guided her to where she is today. She also wants to shout out Sharon Hart, Auditor’s, saying that Sharon has gone above and beyond to assist, train, and help her work through her million questions. Congratulations, Crystal!
