Contact the zoning inspector for the township where your property is located. Approval from the township zoning official is required before a lot split or large lot division can be approved — see the Minor Subdivision (Lot Split) Checklist and the Large Lot Subdivision Checklist.

Saltcreek Township and Tarlton have not adopted a zoning resolution, so township zoning approval is not required there.
