Ditch Work in 2025
In 2025 and so far this year, maintenance work completed includes cleaning the Grove Run Ditch and Wolfe Run Ditch, replacing two driveways and installing a new driveway on the Blue Anderson Ditch, spreading spoils along Hughes Lateral 3, and cutting back brush along the Buskirk Ditch.
2026
As weather permits this season, Pickaway County Engineer maintenance crews have been and will continue work on cleaning and miscellaneous repairs to the following maintenance ditches:
- Hughes Main, Hughes Lateral 1 & DS Drainage – clean and remove silt and debris in various sections of the ditches.
- Wolfe Run Ditch & Grove Run Ditch – Spread spoils
Ditch Mowing
All of the Pickaway County Maintenance Ditches were mowed twice in 2025. A contractor of PCE sprayed various sections of the woody vegetation, Johnson grass and cattails on all ditches.
