UPDATE to Electronic RecordingPre-approvals required — 5/11/2021

5/11/2021 – The Engineer’s Tax Map Office is requiring Pre-Approvals with all Electronic Recordings requiring an Engineer Stamp. Pre-Approvals can be acquired by emailing: deeds@pickawaycountyohio.gov. Attach your Pre-Approval Email to the end of your document as an addendum page when submitting for Electronic Recording.

Minimum Requirements

  • A valid Ohio Commercial Class A Driver License with tanker and air brake endorsements
  • Applicants without a CDL will be considered and can earn a CDL
  • Must reside within a 25-mile radius of the Highway Department located at: 1660 Island Road, Circleville, Ohio
  • Ability to pass all DOT drug and alcohol screenings
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Operating dump truck with trailer/ snow and ice removal equipment
  • Repairing and maintaining county roads
  • Other various duties as required by the County Engineers or Highway Superintendents

Hours

  • Winter hours 7:00AM to 3:30 PM Monday thru Friday
  • Summer Hours 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday thru Thursday

Pay Rate

  • Starting pay will be $23.19 per hour
  • After 6 months’ probation increases to $23.69 per hour
  • New hires without a CDL will start at $21.69 and increase to $22.69 after attaining their CDL’s
